Farrier Service Fee
Sedation FREE, "Flip the Pig" Method Includes initial inspection and assessment, trim and if your animal is accepting we apply moisturizing herbal protectant & conditioner to hooves!
Farm Visit Fee: $70+
$50 per animal
Coverage Area:Serving Union , Snyder, Northumberland & Montour Counties.
Outside the Coverage Area? No Problem! Additional Mileage may apply outside these areas @ $1.75 mile
Things to consider:
We use the American Mini Pig Association method of " Flip The Pig"
We work until your animals tolerance level. This means if your animal shows signs of extreme stress. We reserve the right to stop trimming service or suggest a return visit.
Pigs that are not used to being handled or never have been trimmed before may become more excited , raising there blood pressure and causing excessive stress and possible harm to themselves. Our goal is to provide a calm, effective and SAFE service for all.
If your animal has very overgrown hooves, multiple visits may be needed.
If you are a new pig owner, its extremely helpful to desensitize your piggie by getting them used to having their feet touched!
We do not work on large commercial " farm" pigs at this time.
