About Homestead Helpers

Hi, I’m the owner and lead hoof care specialist  behind Homestead Helpers Holistic Hoof Care. With a background rooted in animal wellbeing and a deep respect for the often-overlooked needs of goats, sheep, and mini pigs, I started this this new approach to bridge a gap in care that too many animal owners struggle with.

Time and again, I heard the same story "my vet or farrier won’t work on goats" or " no one will come out to trim my animals hooves" and saw animals suffering from preventable hoof issues due to a lack of accessible, knowledgeable support. 

That’s when I stepped up, offering more than just trims, but compassionate, whole-animal care tailored to each unique case. I focus on more than just trimming off overgrown hoof walls, I assess posture, watch for and identify signs of disease, and help owners build sustainable aftercare routines to keep their animals sound and comfortable long after the trim.

I work with everyone from hobby farmers  and sanctuaries to large herds and focks and specialize in elderly, special needs, and rescue animals as well as pasture pets. Avoiding sedation - which if often really hard on these animals, I am able to provide a enjoyable experience. 

My mission is simple: every animal deserves thoughtful, gentle, and skilled care, especially the ones that are often forgotten.
