Hi Friends!
Hi! My name is Tammy, I am the backbone of Homestead Helpers PA LLC. I started this business with my Daughters out of the passion for helping others, our many years of owning farm animals, working with them and sharing them with our community.
With over 2 decades of animal husbandry and small farming experience we have met many people that are similar in their lifestyles with nature... or want to be.
We realize the void in availability with " the little things" that really mean a lot to farmers, homesteaders, pet owners.
Taking vacations, seeing family out of state, or just taking a break! Homestead Helpers is here to keep a eye , engage with your animals and keep them comfortable while you are away. Having a team of trained and experienced helpers share the work not only provides more hands and eyes on your animals, but helps ensure there is lots of extra lovin' for all those critters too!
Some of my favorite animals on our farm is our goats and sheep, being a fiber artists I have a appreciation for our fiber producing goats and sheep, caring for them is a privilege. I have learned how much our hooved animals rely on their hooves for overall health. Herd health starts from the ground up- a motto I live by! Providing safe, gentle and professional farrier service helps others keep their herds happy!
And then there is something that I have been told I am a natural at... educating others. I like to think I just am "talkative" ! I know how overwhelming starting our can be in a new journey and if I can help out with those topics we live daily... It is my pleasure. I have taught and presented at Colleges, Childrens Museums, Libraries, Schools, Homeschool Groups, Aged Living Facilities, Community events and the list is growing!
Working alongside with my family is the icing on the cake so to speak, it provides a partnership experience for our loyal customers like no other. We often start at strangers and leave as friends!
